The first of three par fives, this hole while straight, tempts golfers into a false shot off the tee with a wide fairway before them. Placement to the right brings the inevitable “ball catchers” into play while a shot to the left leaves a clear shot to the green blocked by trees encroaching into the fairway from the left with a large silver dollar tree taking pride of place. Seconds need to either clear the tree line or find the narrow entrance to the green.
